13 November 2010 – Nagambie VIC

In 2009 we awoke to a very hot Saturday and shared breakfast with our fellow Winnebago RV Club members. Today we awoke to light rain and elected to have our own breakfast in the comfort of the motor home.

Various seminars and a supplier trade show had been planned for the day but the light rain resulted in a relocation of the seminars and trade show to an adjacent facility that was associated with the rowing venue.

We spent the morning there and fortunately the rain had stopped. The remainder of the day remained relatively fine and we had a very lazy afternoon spent talking with friends.

As was the case last year, the Dometic organisation sponsored happy hour and we all enjoyed several cold refreshments before heading off to the Christmas Dinner.
Approximately 152 people (about 50 less than last year) again packed into a function centre at the Leisure Park and enjoyed the evening meal and excellent entertainment which was courtesy of a “one man” band.

Whilst we were attending the function, we did have a significant amount of rain but this had ceased by the time we left to return to the motor home.
Again due to reasonable temperatures, we have a comfortable night.
