As was the case in Boulia, we awoke to fog. Fortunately it lifted quickly to reveal an outstanding outback day.
After breakfast, some members of our group who had been able to book into a caravan park at Mount Isa departed leaving 11 motorhomes at the camp site. “He” spent a good amount of time adjusting the brake cable on our car hitch as well as adjusting the screen that protects the car from rocks.
We had a relaxing day at the campsite discussing motorhomes and playing bingo. Another motorhome with a flat provided some interest and training in the process of tyre removal.
We enjoyed steak for dinner before having another early night.
