30 April 2014 – Adelaide SA

The local agent for our in-dash unit had arranged with the Sydney supplier to have parts shipped to Adelaide and those parts were expected to arrive today.  We contacted the agent early only to learn that there had not yet been a delivery.  We would call again later in the morning.

Whilst waiting to call, “He” arranged a wheel alignment with a local Bridgestone Service Centre.  Last time we had an alignment done was to the Iveco (Winnebago motorhome) and that cost close to $250.00.  The cost today, $49.00, and they managed to straighten our steering wheel. We called the agent again just before lunch only to learn that there had still not been a delivery.  The spare parts finally arrived just before 2:00pm so “He” headed across to the other side of the city.

Russell from “Electric Brake Specialists” is the Adelaide agent for our in-dash unit.  He basically dropped everything to look at our car and managed to locate the fault to a bad connection.  We cannot speak highly enough of the service that he provided to us.

“He” finally made it back to our campsite just before 5:00pm.  We walked to the beach and photographed a beautiful sunset.
