We had originally planned to spend another night at Cessnock however, when we learnt that we would be staying by ourselves, we decided to book into the caravan park on the Central Coast one day earlier than planned. We had already extended our stay on the Central Coast by one day and the caravan park was able to cater for our request and place us on the site that we had originally booked.
Today we had planned to see friends who live near Maitland and we had told them we would arrive in the mid morning and bring morning tea with us.
We left Cessnock at 9:00am, stopped near Kurri Kurri to purchase morning tea and arrived at Aberglasslyn just before 10:00am, 15 minutes early.
We enjoyed morning tea and then lunch with our friends before departing for the Central Coast just after 2:00pm.
Whilst at Aberglasslyn, “He” flew the quad copter to take some aerials of our friend’s property. “He” did experience a problem with control loss with the quad but was able to regain control quickly.
The trip from Aberglasslyn to the Central Coast was just under 100k’s and after battling some heavy local traffic near Tuggerah, we arrived at Toowoon Bay close to 4:00pm and just in time for happy hour.
We enjoyed fish and chips for tea purchased from a local fish shop.
