Monday saw a return to fine weather. Our pack-up for departure was easy and we were ready to say our “goodbyes” at 9:00am.
Deciding to follow the directions given by our GPS, the trip back to Cowra was actually very quick. It soon became very apparent that the Binalong to Cowra direct route was on a major country road. Later we learnt that we had driven 133 kilometres to Binalong from Cowra via Young whilst the direct route was only 70 kilometres.
We arrived at Cowra before 11:00am and established our new camp site in the Cowra Holiday Park.
Friends from the CMCA who were with us at Binalong joined us later in the day setting up their camp on an adjacent site.
