We started our day with a trip to the produce markets at The Entrance.
We actually found a gentleman selling various alcoholic liquors and we decided to purchase a couple of them. We also found a business that builds garden beds and we found a particular model that will be ideal for our backyard. They are based near Newcastle but are prepared to deliver and install for $80.
After leaving the markets, we had a short walk around The Entrance Shops. As we were leaving, “She” spotted a guy that “He” had worked with in the past. We managed to find another parking spot but we could not find Jamie. “He” made a call to Jamie’s mobile phone (left a message) and Jamie called back and confirmed that he was indeed at The Entrance.
We met Jamie and were introduced to his wife and young son.
We returned to the caravan park for lunch and then attended the AGM of the ACC Sydney City Slickers. “He” was elected Vice President and “She” accepted the position of Publicity Officer.
We didn’t have time for happy hour after the meeting as we all headed to the Bateau Bay Golf Club for our evening meal. The club was very busy but they managed to server our meal very quickly and with little fuss. The food was excellent. We headed back to the caravan park just after 9:00pm and joined a couple of other couples for a late evening drink. We had our latest night since leaving home.
