19 November 2014 – Budgewoi NSW

We were up just after 7:00am and started another load of washing. The washing machine in our caravan has been a Godsend. Should we ever have to purchase another RV in the future, the vehicle will have to be built around the washing machine.

Whilst having breakfast, “She” noticed that “His” left eye was bloodshot. This was the same condition that was treated several weeks ago and was one of the factors that made us think about going on holidays. “He” had not been overly concerned about his eyes as our local GP indicated it might take a fair amount of time to overcome the ear problem.

Nevertheless, we decided that a visit to a local GP was warranted. Fortunately “He” bought prescriptions with us and “He” has a repeat for both ear and eye drops. A quick check on the internet confirmed that there was a medical centre at Budgewoi and at 8:45am, “He” was in the car heading there. The medical centre opened at 9:00am and “He” was able to make an appointment for 10:20am. “He” ended up see a doctor at 11:00am and was prescribed new drops for his eye. With luck, the drops should cure the infection in about four days.

We had a quiet remainder of the day before enjoying happy hour at 4:30pm with several other members of our group who had arrived during the course of the day.
