26 November 2014 – Bathurst NSW

We awoke to a beautiful Bathurst day with a very mild temperature and no rain expected.

After our intentional sleep in, we had intended to have a relatively quiet day with the only major task being to restock our refrigerator with food for our intended free camp at Binalong.

We left the caravan mid morning and headed to the relatively new Bathurst Masters. We purchased a couple of items at what we believe is the best Masters store we
Masters for service. The staff were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful.

A trip to Bathurst is incomplete with a lap around the Mt Panorama motor racing circuit which we did. The smoothness of the road never fails to amaze us as well as the difficulty in controlling ones inner self which wants to race around the circuit.

We then stopped for lunch at a restaurant called “Sweet caramel”. The food was nothing short of sensational. “She” had a prawn and coconut based main whilst “He” has a seafood based pasta dish. We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we are in Bathurst.

Finally we shopped at Coles before returning to the caravan for a quiet afternoon. “He” had intended to get this web site up to date but a dodge internet connection prevented that from occurring.
