With no real plans for the day, we set our alarm for 7:00am when we got up to bid farewell to one of the couple who were returning home. Today would be the coldest day we have experienced since leaving home for the tagalong.
By 10:0am we were ready to leave for some sightseeing and we soon found ourselves with our friends in Cowra and looking at several shops. We spent time looking for a jacket for “He” (without any luck) but “She” managed to purchase a watch.
We met up with several other couples from our group and we all enjoyed lunch in a local café.
After lunch we visited a lookout that afforded expansive views of the area. The cold wind ensured that our visit was quick.
As it was our turn to prepare nibbles for happy hour, we decided to return to our campsite but not before refueling and making a quick visit to ALDI where we were able to purchase some alcohol that is not available in Sydney.
After returning to our campsite we started the fire early. Our host bought some cocktail frankfurts that were cooked over the fire in port. The taste was sensational. Most of us used the BBQ for our evening meal.
By 9:00pm we had all ventured back to our RV’s for what would be a cold night.
