16 May 2015 – White Cliffs

We decided not to set an alarm clock and when we finally decided to get up, it was just after 8:00am.  We had a very leisurely breakfast before spending the morning sitting and talking.

We went for a walk around White Cliffs before returning for lunch well after 1:00pm.  Our missing friends who had experienced the fire arrived with their van rewired and working as it should.  Another electrical problem had also been fixed.

Later in the afternoon we returned to an opal dealer and left without making any purchases.  Next stop was the Pioneers Cemetery where “She” noticed several persons with her maiden name.  We will explore if any family members where known to be in the White Cliffs area.  We also travelled to the highest point in White Cliffs to take photographs.

On returning to our campsite, another fire was lit and happy hour commenced.  Later in the afternoon “He” flew the quad copter and attempted to herd more kangaroos.  Once again, the kangaroos departed as soon as the quad copter got near.  The opportunity to use the quad for taking pictures of sunset was not lost.

We cooked our evening meal and “She” spent more time talking near the fire whilst “He” watched the Sydney Swans beat the Geelong Cats.
