The night was indeed cold (min temp 3.0c) but we remained warm in the caravan with our reverse cycle air conditioning providing warm air.
Peterborough has one major tourist attraction, Steamtown.
This museum is a must see when in the area.
We made our third visit to Steamtown today and enjoyed the two hours we spent there. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience entertaining.
After finishing our visit we returned to the caravan for lunch before “He” and a couple of our friends headed back to a rail crossing in Peterborough to watch the Indian Pacific pass by on its way to Sydney.
We restocked our food supplies in the afternoon and then had time on the computer prior to tea.
“He” and other members of our group went back to Steamtown for their “Light & Sound” show. The show was enjoyed by all.
We also ran across some other travellers who we met at Broken Hill. They are travelling the same route as us. We are likely to see them again.
Hot chocolate when “He” returned to the caravan. It was not as cold as the previous night due to a build up of clouds which are expected to deliver rain tomorrow.
