The ACC National Muster finished today.
We left our cap site at midday and drove to Tocumwal where we stopped for lunch with other members of the tagalong. After lunch we continued our short drive through to Jerilderie where we booked into the local caravan park.
The caravan park was located behind what is known as Billabong Creek. The creek is now a massive river and the owner of the caravan park told us that it is the third time in 16 years there has been water behind the park and the current level is the highest it has been. The presence of the water also meant that the local mosquito population was massive and we soon discovered a need to “cover up”.
Our group for the tagalong consisted of 6 couples with another couple expected tomorrow.
Most of us were tired so we had a quiet afternoon before happy hour (we played finska and “He” managed to win the second game when everyone defaulted with three misses).
We retired early.
