21 April 2017 – Bendigo VIC

It started to rain about 2:00am and continued to rain until we got out of bed just after 7:00am.  The ground was very wet and the sky dark.

The BOM had issued a severe weather warning for our location with heavy falls expected.  A couple of inches of rain was forecast.

After breakfast, we headed into Bendigo (in constant rain) and paid a visit to the Bendigo Pottery Works.  We enjoyed morning tea there.

Next stop was the Bendigo Woollen Mill where “She” made several purchases.  “He” was able to visit the adjacent tram museum which provided the opportunity for some photography.

Next stop was at the Bendigo Mazda dealer as we wanted to have a look at the new Mazda CX5.  The visit was very fruitful as we were able to have a good look at the vehicle.

We had Chinese for lunch before returning to our camp site.  It was still raining and in fact, some 45mm of rain had fallen in this area.  The caravan park was very wet with a lot of surface water to be seen.

We had a latish tea.
