The rain came down for most of the night but the thunderstorms that were forecast did not occur. Nor did we get any hail.
There was a lull in the rain that allowed us both to use the camps amenities shortly after we got up.
As today was ANZAC Day, we usually watch the 9:00am march. We had considered going to a dawn service but the weather made it easy to remain in bed.
We ended up watching the Melbourne March and then the service at Canberra followed by the dawn service in Turkey. As we did this, the rain continued.
Later in the afternoon we paid a quick visit to Coles and replenished groceries.
We had gourmet meat pies, spuds and peas for our evening meal. It hit the spot.
The BOM has forecast further bad weather again including the words thunderstorms and hail and has added extremely cold air to the mix. We need to review of plans as the area that we intend to visit over coming days will be subjected to these poor weather conditions.
