28 April 2017 – Shepparton VIC to Gundagai NSW

It was certainly not as cold as it had been in Victoria and that allowed us to have a good night’s sleep.

We a reasonable drive of around 350 k’s in front of us, we were on the road by 9:00am.  Our GPS decided to bypass the Shepparton CBD and we had a very pleasant run down narrow country roads before joining the main highway about 10k’s east of Shepparton.  There was very little traffic around and we were able to maintain a speed that suited us.

We refuelled at Lavington (just north of Albury), stopped at the Holbrook Bakery for lunch and arrived at Gundagai in the mid afternoon.

Late in the afternoon we walked into Gundagai and were able to visit both the post office (CBA agent) and also the NRMA agent who was able to sort out a problem we have with our NRMA membership.

We had dinner in the caravan and then “He” spent the evening watching football.

We had a good sleep as it had been a long day.
