5 October 2017 – Gunnedah NSW

With vents open, we had a very comfortable sleep that was only interrupted with the alarm sounding at 7:00am.  We ignored the alarm and stayed in bed a little longer.

With no pressure again for an early departure, we had a leisurely breakfast.  “He” located a gas dealer deciding that Gunnedah would be a better opportunity to replenish one of our gas bottles that was close to depletion.

The gas was refilled and after returning to our caravan, we headed out to meet relatives and a luncheon at a local art gallery.  We were joined by other relatives.

After lunch, we provided a tour of our van before heading back with relatively for an afternoon of cards followed by a wonderful evening meal and more conversation.

We returned to our caravan at 10:00pm after being informed that showers and storms are forecast for tomorrow and the following days.

Before going to bed, “He” recharged all the batteries for the quad copter as there are plan to take some aerials of a property at Boggabri, a small town to the north of Gunnedah where “Her” Mother, Aunts and Uncles were born and raised.
