As the night was cool (we had inadvertently left our door open but the security door was locked), we were both extremely tired and there was virtually no noise anywhere, we had our best sleep since leaving home.
There was a fog when we opened the door and there was dew over the caravan and our car. The temperature was in the very low teens.
We departed the campsite just before 9:00am as part of a convoy. The distance to our destination was close to 80k’s and we arrived just after 10:00am.
It did not take us long to be allocated our site and after several attempts, we were safely parked. The site was level so all we needed to do was to unhitch and then setup. Due to several interruptions, that process took a couple of hours. During that time, we also made a visit to the local IGA store and purchased groceries that will last us a couple of days.
After lunch, we registered and then spent the next couple of hours catching up with friends. Our branch joined together for happy hour.
As we cooked our evening meal, “He” setup our satellite dish as like many others who are attending the muster, we cannot pick up a television signal.
We were very late eating (8:00pm). We watched television until retiring close to 11:00pm.
