We experienced heavy rain during the night. The ground was very damp when we emerged just after 8:30am.
With the wind very light, “He” was able to fly the quad copter and take pictures of our camp site. Initially when trying to launch the quad copter, an error message was displayed stating that a firmware upgrade was required. It is very apparent as to how much the technology has evolved with drones as the firmware fix only applied to the flight batteries that had not yet been used. The upgrade was obtained and was quick to apply.
“He” had to attend a meeting in the morning and “She” was able to shower undisturbed.
We attended our ACC branch AGM in the afternoon and spent well over an hour at the meeting. We were able to attend a couple of happy hours after the meeting and before we were driven to a small restaurant in Currarong where our entire group enjoyed our “Christmas Dinner”.
After returning to our campsite we all switched on our Christmas Lights and spent time looking at all of the displays. There were two outstanding contenders. Our display including the use of several laser displays did not warrant any mention.
By the time we finished looking at the other caravans and talking to other members of our group, it was well after 11:00pm when we returned to our caravan. We were both in bed around midnight.
