There was no rain overnight and we had been able to leave our roof vents open.
We didn’t have any opportunity to sleep in today as a communal breakfast was scheduled. It is a rare occasion when we have a cooked breakfast but today we enjoyed bacon and eggs.
“He” was able to fly the drone and take photographs of those enjoying their breakfast.
Following breakfast we had “Secret Santa” where gifts costing up to $15 were exchanged. Were both happy with our gifts and for once we did not see anyone disappointed in what they had been given.
“He” attended a branch committee meeting having been appointed to a position on the committee at the AGM.
We returned to “Zacs” for lunch where we enjoyed further fish meals. We also took the opportunity to have a walk close to the beach and take in the overall beauty of the Jervis Bay Marine Park.
After returning to the caravan park, “He” spent more time flying the drone and demonstrating it to another branch member who has intentions of buying one. In fact, the opportunity was used to test “sports mode” where a lot of the restrictions are removed from the drone and flight at speed is available. The battery capacity was also tested with the drone kept in the air until the battery had expired. With the battery showing zero, the drone still remained airborne and was then auto landed to avoid a crash.
Later in the afternoon “He” played disc bowls and didn’t lose a game. Disc bowls was played in conjunction with happy hour.
We used our George Foreman to cook steaks for our evening meal which we shared with other members of or group in the camp kitchen.
Returning to our caravan well after sunset, we packed chairs and our awning away before watching television. We had an early night.
