2 April 2018 – Wagga Wagga NSW

Once again, our day started with the alarm sounding at 6:00am. Getting up early still allowed us to use the toilet facilities on the site before the facilities became congested with the festival attendees.

Today was an open day where the residents of Wagga Wagga were invited to attend the site.  Over 50 stalls had been setup.

With no morning entertainment, we looked at all of the staff and made a couple of purchases.  Later in the afternoon they conducted “Stoning of the Crows” which involved throwing a tennis ball at a crow from a fair distance.  “He” tried without success, “She” chose to watch.

The quad copter flew during the afternoon (in strong wind) and was able to capture some of the stoning events.

Later in the evening, Monique Montez performing her tribute show to Shirley Bassey and Lisa Minelli.  This show was one of the highlights of the festival.
