Our day started with the alarm sounding at 6:00am. Getting up early allowed us to use the toilet facilities on the site before the facilities became congested with the festival attendees.
We attended the first morning show which started at 9:00am and concluded just before 11:00am. “He” helped Rod Hannifrey with his presentation on sharing the road with big trucks.
For the remainder of the day we both did our own thing attending various sessions and demonstrations. The String Family performed a concert during the afternoon and have proven to be a very good attraction for the festival.
We purchased our evening meal in the convention centre being very happy with both the cost and the quality of the food. It is likely we will continue to purchase our evening meals here just for the convenience.
Our evening show was Simon Gillespie performing his tribute show to Peter Allen. Once again, “He” provided the video images that were shown on three separate screens.
