Our first night in the new caravan was not all that bad. The bed was comfortable, and we only need to work out the air flow during the night. The air conditioning unit is under the bed and it can run in “night mode” and is very quiet. We elected not to use it tonight.
For the first time we had a meal in our dinette in the caravan and we have more space than any of the three previous RV’s.
We spent the day socialising and greeting the remaining members of our group.
Lunch was in the annexe and we quickly learned that you need to open both ends to create an airflow. A lot of the day was consumed with giving guided tours of the caravan. The Adria is very small, the inside length is about 13” some 6.5” shorter than the Nova caravan. Nevertheless, we managed to have eight people inside the caravan on one occasion.
We setup some games for happy hour with the group divided between Finska and disc bowls.
We had a communal dinner (BYO) before tables were rearranged into group for trivia. “He” was responsible for the questions which “He” believed were easier than previous years. The best score was 26 out of 50. Even though the questions were considered to be hard, no one questioned any of the answers and everyone agreed that they had a good time.
We were in bed not long after the conclusion of trivia. Tonight, we tried to partly open windows near the bed.
