16 February 2019 – Culburra Beach NSW

We were up at 7:00am and ready to leave for an outing by 9:30am.

“She” managed to walk into one of the supports for our awning and was left with bump and graze on her forehead.  Just goes to prove that under certain circumstances, walking, turning and talking at the same time can be dangerous.

Today we enjoyed a Shoalhaven River Cruise.  There is only one commercial boat operating on the river and we enjoyed their lunch cruise.  We cruised for about 90 minutes to a point to the west of Nowra where we stopped at a reserve for a chicken salad lunch.  The cruise was excellent, and the hospitality was very good.

After returning to the caravan park, “He” spent a couple of hours helping one of our group to setup a PVR on both their television and satellite service.

We didn’t have a formal happy hour today, but we did manage to buy a half kilo of prawns from a vendor who drove through the caravan park.  The prawns were very large, fresh and tasted great. We had the prawns for our evening meal with salad.

We were tired so we relaxed in front of the television and had a quiet night.
