Last night was hot, in fact it was the hottest night since we have left home. Open vents did little to bring in any cold air.
We were up at 7:00am and ready to depart at 9:45am for a trip to the Cambewarra Lookout which provides expansive views of Nowra, east to the sea and then well to the south. As expected, there was a lot of haze about, but we were told that the view was better than usual.
Today friends in our group provided the transport. We had a lovely morning tea at the lookout before returning to Nowra for some technical shopping at Officeworks.
After returning to the caravan park, “He” finally managed to setup the PVR on our friend’s satellite system, a task that has taken three days. Much to “His” surprise, the reason that the PVR was not working was due to an issue in using Western Digital hard drives. Bizarre!
“He” also noticed a dust spot on pictures taken today. The camera will need to be cleaned as soon as we arrive home and the cleaning material packed into our camera bag for future use when travelling.
With the weather starting to deteriorate, we packed up our camping mat and stowed ties used to secure our awning. With rain forecast for tomorrow, the last thing we want to do is to stow a wet awning.
After happy hour, our friends provided a wonderful baked dinner which we enjoyed. It proves that travelling in a caravan should not provide any boundaries for preparing wonderful food that is equal to or better than what can be prepared at home.
It started to rain as we prepared to return to the caravan. Hopefully the rain will wash the red dust off the caravan and our car.
We watched television before retiring early to bed.
