18 April 2019 – Wagga Wagga NSW

We spent some time in the morning assisting with the setup of the stage and the sound system.

Later in the morning, “He” was driven back into Wagga Wagga to collect a loan car from the Wagga Wagga Mitsubishi Dealer (Thomas Bros). Before returning to our camp site, we stopped at the Flying Fox Studios (Grant’s recording studio) for a guided tour of the facility.  This was important to our son and much appreciated.

Returning back towards the festival venue, we stopped at the Wagga Wagga Jaycar outlet where we purchased a long Cat5 data cable that will allow us to connect a video camera and computer to the venue’s video system.  Apparently, the hardware we used last year was only of a temporary nature and today we were introduced to the permanent hardware that is now used with the audio visual system in the main building.

Later in the afternoon, some of the people attending the festival for the first time arrived and were provided with an introduction to the facility.  Allowing approximately 100 vehicles in a day early was a great move as it would make the following day a lot easier when the remainder of those attending arrived.

We had a quiet happy hour with our son and after cooking our evening meal, we had a quiet evening and were all early to bed
