We stayed in bed until 8:00am and then started the day in a leisurely manner.  Today we would attend a 90thbirthday luncheon at midday.

“He” tested the caravan water pump and confirmed that the leak was active, and this resulted in about an hour of more cleanup under our bed.  “He” also tried to fix the rear gate on the caravan that is not locking correctly.

We attended the birthday luncheon and “She” was able to catchup will a lot of relative that have not been seen in decades.  After lunch we returned to “Her” cousins’ home and continued the conversation with her relatives.

Our afternoon finally  finished when we returned to our caravan at about 6:30pm armed with a pizza from Dominos. We had intended to use some of the food in the caravan, but Dominos looked very inviting as we drove past and there was parking available at the front door.  The pizza was washed down with a bottle of bubbly.

We watched a special on television about the moon landing which happened 50 years ago.  We both agreed that so far, the landing on the moon is the most significant event during of lifetime.

By our standards, we had another early night (just after 9:00pm) with the temperature a lot lower than 24 hours earlier.  At least we have found the right combination of bed covers as our bed is nice and warm and we are unlikely to be cold during the night.  The caravan is also well insulated and currently we have not made any use of heating.
