We both slept reasonably well as it takes us several days to get use to the caravan bed. We were up just 7:00am to a clear and sunny Gunnedah day.
Without the use of water in the caravan, we had to use the facilities of the caravan park and we both agreed that it was nice not to be limited to a 60 second caravan shower.
The plans for today were to reunite with relatives and with an arrival time of somewhere between 10:30am and 11:00am, we had a lot of time to make ourselves ready.
We did take our time in getting ready and joined relatives later in the morning. We enjoyed fish and chips for lunch and later in the afternoon, we played a card game called “Hand and Foot” with “Her” Aunty and Cousin.
After finishing cards, we had a wonderful evening meal in one of the Gunnedah Chinese restaurants. We were home just after 9:00pm looking forward to heading to a warm bed and a sleep where we would not be woken by an alarm. Our plan was to “sleep in”.
