Today also started as a cloudy but dry day. Is a pattern starting to form?

Our intention today was to travel east and have another look at the tourist features of the Great Ocean Road.  We invited a friend to travel with us and he accepted our invitation.

Shortly after leaving our camp site, we noticed that the cloud cover was becoming lighter and by the time we arrived at the Great Ocean Road, the cloud was gone, and a nice sunny day was making its presence felt.  This would be the first time we had visited this area when it was not raining or experiencing strong winds.  “He” was stoked as an opportunity for photography had arrived.

We stopped at all of the attractions and finally called into a café for lunch at Port Campbell.

Later in the afternoon we attended another ACC happy hour before we departed to Flagstaff Hill for their Sound & Light Show.

The sound and light show focused on the whaling industry that was in this area and also on the shipwrecked coast and in particular, a vessel called the Loch Ard.

We enjoyed the presentation and were able to capture some good nightime photographs of the site as well as parts of the show.
