16 October 2019 – Warrnambool VIC

Another day of typical Victorian weather with rain, sun, wind, all four seasons in one day.

Today we had booked an “Art walk” that would take place in the middle of the day.  What the walk was all about was local graffiti which Warrnambool is famous for and also encourages under the right conditions.  We drove into town and headed to the meeting point.  Just after our arrival and the introduction to the walk, it started to rain.  The rain did not stop is enjoying the walk and the incredible art that we saw.

After finishing the walk, we went to the Fletcher Jones markets, a two-storey market housed in the old Fletcher Jones production warehouse.  There was a lot to explore in the markets, but we noticed that there was nothing to be saved as the prices were far from cheap.

We stopped for lunch at a café in a shopping centre and then returned for the usual happy hour in the marquee.
