21 October 2019 – Warrnambool to Smythesdale VIC

Today we joined other members of our branch for a tagalong from Warrnambool back to Sydney.

Departing at 9:30am, we stopped for morning tea at a small local store in a small community called Mortlake.

From Mortlake we retraced some of the route that we took from Seymour to Hamilton before arriving at a free camp in the small township of Smythesdale.  We had a late lunch after setting up the caravan for our overnight stop.

We noticed evidence of the recent rain with everything very green.

“He” flew the drone in the afternoon and captured some great pictures of the surrounding countryside.

We had a cloud free night and that afford us with a great view off the Southern Sky.
