22 October 2019 – Smythesdale to Seymour VIC

We had a very comfortable night.  We watched a little television before going to bed and were surprised to see that our house battery was sitting close to 13 volts when we checked first thing.

Today we drove through Ballarat and then experienced some of the best scenery with colour.

After passing through Daylesford, we stopped at the Chocolate Mill where we enjoyed morning tea (based on chocolate drinks).  We also purchased some diabetic chocolate to try.

We then headed cross country to Seymour where we were able to do a little grocery shopping after setting up in the caravan park.  The temperature has risen and shorts and tee shirt that had been packed away are now in use.

We enjoyed a happy hour and dinner outside.

After dinner and sunset, we decided to visit the Vietnam memorial but unfortunately decided not to stop due to a suspicious looking car parked across the road from the memorial.
