This morning we enjoyed an arranged visit to the Billson’s Beechworth Cordial, gin distillery and brewery where we had a tour followed by tasting of some of the beers and cordials, they produce from the spring water obtained from a deep spring on the factory property.
Morning tea was at the Beechworth Bakery where we purchased meat pies for our evening meal.
We visited a sweets shop where we purchased some items that we hope can be eaten by our grandson. Having visited Beechworth in the past, we decided not to revisit the local attractions and took the opportunity to spend the afternoon in the caravan with the air conditioning running. Temperature today was around the 34-degree mark. It was very hot and such a contrast to Warrnambool where the weather had been terrible.
Happy hour was again followed by dinner outside. As soon as the sun dropped, so did the temperature. It was very pleasant sitting outside.
