We said our goodbyes and departed Moss Vale at 8:15am.
With no real need to hurry back to Sydney, we decided to let the GPS decide the route home. We were surprised to see the GPS navigate us back to the Hume Highway by the most direct route and that avoided travelling back through Bowral and Mittagong. This was a route that we would not have taken if doing our own navigation and we will never know if the GPS had taken us on the most direct or quickest route.
The remainder of the return trip to Sydney was uneventful with the only downside being the increased in traffic just after the Picton turnoff.
We returned the caravan into the drive without any problems. The caravan and the car need to have a good wash to remove the red dust from the dust storm we experienced at Jugiong.
