19 November 2020 – Burrill Lake NSW

For the second night in a row, we were woken by the sounds of birds.  The caravan park has a large population of lorikeet and parrots and they become very active as soon as the sun rises.  We managed to sleep for another hour and rose just after our 7:00am alarm.

Today a picnic lunch was planned, and we all left the caravan park at 11:00am and headed to a picnic area to the north of Mollymook.  The site was well shaded and most of the group stayed until close to 2:00pm.  There were several walking tracks in the area including one that lead to a peninsular where we had a good view of the coast.  This spot provided the perfect opportunity to take some pictures that will be stitched into a panorama at a later time.  We have a Panasonic Lumix G9 which takes great pictures.  We also have some great software that does not require all of the pictures to have been taken with identical settings.  This means that any location where there is a good view of the horizon is a candidate for a panorama picture as you can shoot away and then stitch the images at a later time if you wish to do so.

We came home via Milton where we refuelled the car at 6cpl cheaper than Ulladulla.

After returning to the caravan park, we enjoyed happy hour before cooking an excellent meal.  The remainder of the evening was spent watching television.
