27 November 2020 – Berry NSW

Another very warm day in Berry but we managed to sleep overnight with only the vents open.

Today we decided to have a quick look at the Berry shopping precinct and use the opportunity to purchase some food from the Berry IGA store.

We offered a ride to our friends, Cathy & Heino, who were staying in town to have coffee with one of their friends.  After purchasing some food for our evening meal, we returned to the camp site with the intention of having a quiet day.

When the wind intensity dropped in the afternoon, “He” flew one of the drones and took panorama pictures of Berry and the surrounding countryside.  As is the normal case, flying the drone caught the interest of several other people in our group.  One of the other members of our group flew his Mavic Air 2, the next generation of the drone that we own.  Between the two of us, we provided entertainment for those who were watching including a demonstration of the accuracy of both drones to return to the departure point without human intervention.

Later in the afternoon the group enjoyed happy hour where we decided that a future happy hour would include a “gadgets” session as many of us have useful items that should be disclosed too other.  One of the group produced a small battery operated mossie killer that was said to remove all of the small black insects that manage to find their way through the caravan’s screens.

We used the microwave to reheat the food that we had purchased from IGA.Another night that we retired early to bed.
