In previous years we have had a “Secret Santa” arrangement at our Christmas Muster where everyone who participated purchased a gift to the value of $15. This year the Branch Executive decided to have a cooked “COVID safe breakfast.
We were both involved with “Him” cooking all of the fried eggs.
After breakfast we decided to have a day trip to Shoalhaven Heads then Gerroa and Gerringong. We asked our friends Cathy & Heino to join us.
We initially travelled to Shoalhaven Heads before heading north to Gerringong and “The Blue Goose Café” where we stopped for morning tea. Leaving the Gerringong shopping precinct, we drove to Werri Beach where we parked and left the car to enjoy the area.
Next stop was at Black Head Reserve (Gerroa Headland) where “He” was able to fly a drone a capture the stunning coast scenery and a rock ledge that was exposed for probably 100 meters out into the sea.
Leaving Gerroa, we travelled back to South Nowra and BCF for purchase of a fan as the fan we purchased in 2016 in Western Australia had stopped working.
Finally, before returning to our camp site, we stopped at the Nowra AVIDA dealership where we know the Sales Manager. We had the fortune of some light rain which seemed to provide some relief to the temperature.
After returning to the camp site, we had our happy hour in the chook shed. After a light dinner, we joined friends, Cathy, Heino and Monica for drinks which extended well into the night.
