We had our breakfast in the annexe. The remainder of the morning was consumed by decorating our annexe with Christmas lights. He decided not to place any lights outside and concentrate entirely on the inside of the annexe. A tree was erected as well as carefully placed lights plus a spotlight to create a bright Christmas display that focused on the tree.
Later in the afternoon we participated in games with the group. He managed a perfect score in ladder golf before competing in a couple of games of disk bowls and being on the winning side in both games. She played disc bowls but unfortunately was on the team that come second.
We decided to have “fish n chips” for our evening meal. We had the choice of a couple of venues and after asking a couple of locals, we went to the Riverside Seafood. That proved to be a mistake as we had to wait just over 30 minutes after ordering. It appeared that the score was more intent on looking after orders through Menu Log rather than the customers waiting in the shop. The fish was just OK but expensive. We will not go to this venue again.
We invited our friends to join us in the annexe for our meal and we were pleased to see that we were able to use the annexe for the purpose it was designed for.
Storms had been forecast for our location but those storms and the anticipated rain occurred to the north of our location. We experienced several light showers that had zero impact on our activities/With the air conditioning set to run on low, we anticipated having a more comfortable overnight.
