20 November 2021 – Budgewoi NSW

I recall hearing a few spots of rain overnight but it was dry when we emerged from sleeping.  Unlike the previous nights, we both slept well and it looks like we are getting back into the routine of caravan living.

We have become concerned with the failure of our television to “remember” the scanned channels.  Whilst this is not a major issue, it is more of a hassle especially when you bump the power cord and the television power resets.  The television only stores audio channels only and only the ABC.

After speaking with several other members who were “in the know”, we decided to bite the bullet and we ordered from Camec a new television with delivery expected in 7 to 10 days due to COVID.

The Branch held its AGM in the afternoon and once gain, the rain stayed again.  There was one occasion, and it was for only 60 seconds, when several members of the group did put up umbrellas but that was very short lived.

After the AGM we drove into Budgewoi and purchased chicken and the last two potatoes available plus a couple of pieces of pumpkin.  This was at the store that told us when we arrived at Budgewoi that they would have heaps of veggies available on Saturday afternoon.  It was a little embarrassing for us as we had directed several of our group to this store.

We have our Christmas dinner under the cover of several shelters and it was not a surprise when we won the best decorated table.

Later that night everyone turned on their Christmas lights that were judged for the best.  We had a nice display but not good enough to win.

As we were considering heading to bed, it started to rain.
