11 August 2022 – Macquarie Woods to Dubbo NSW

It was a cold night, but we stayed warm due to many blankets.

It was not overly cold in the morning with the temperature around 7 degrees.

We left in two groups just after 9:00am to travel to Wellington where we intended to stop for a late morning tea.

One of the group with a warning light on a new car.  Spent about 1 hour in Wellington talking to the NRMS, Ford HO and finally a Ford dealer in Dubbo.

Lunch at the Cow & Calf before we headed to Dubbo to make sure that the Ford dealer was helping our member.

Refuelled at an Ampol station where we suppose to get a good discount, but the discounted price was the same as other places.

Arrived at the CP which was out of the town and close to the airport.  Had a drive-thru site.

We had a happy hour in the afternoon with the two remaining members of our group arriving.

Happy hour continued until after 6pm when we started to receive a few drops of rain.  It rained for most of the night but the caravan was warm after running the air conditioning on heat mode.
