13 April 2022 – Wagga Wagga NSW

Once again, up at 7:00am with breakfast and dishes finished by 9:00am and we both managed to shower in the caravan.  Today “He” added another 5o litres of water into our water tank and that should see us through a couple of days.

Time was spent repacking the back of the car with the carpet being very wet.  The car was left open, and the sun assisted in drying the carpet.

The work in the auditorium was finished by 10:00am.  Having the need to purchase food, we decided to drive into Wagga Wagga and shop at Coles.  We also needed to purchase playing cards for one of her “Stone the Crows” craft sessions and “He” had the need for a visit to Dan Murphy’s.

We had lunch after returning and then spent most of the afternoon visiting and receiving visits from friends.

All the volunteers met for happy hour at 4:30pm when we were provided with our welcome packs, shirts, lanyards, and a gift.  We enjoyed hamburgers followed by desert for our evening meal.  That was provided to all the volunteers.

With the temperature dropping quickly, we were happy to return to our caravan for some television before another early night to bed.
