We thought that it would be cool overnight and added an extra layer of warmth. Whilst that was not a mistake, we were warm overnight.
Today was to be a quiet day. “She” had an early meeting to attend so “He” decided to make sure that our drone was charged with the intention of flying later in the day.
“He” has a couple of drones registered for commercial use with CASA. The most recent acquisition is a DJI Mavic Air with our older drone being a DJI Spark. The drone was packed in a container in the rear of the car and unfortunately the Spark instead of the Mavic Air was in the container. Both drones are stored in similar bags, and “He” had picked up the wrong bag. With memory card in the Mavic Air bag, “He” drove to Officeworks and purchase replacement memory cards.
Over the next couple of hours, all the batteries were recharged as well as the controller and an old iPhone used for video. The drone needed recalibration and that was all achieved before an early lunch.
Whilst the batteries were on charge, “He” drove our friend Heino to Dan Murphy’s where urgent beer supplies were purchased.
Later in the morning, “He” was also able to exchange his 6XL volunteer’s shirt with a smaller size. We will never know how they got the size 6XL.
After lunch we visited Foodworks at Forest Hill where we were able to purchase a couple of items that were not available in Coles.
After returning, “He” received a phone call asking if “He” could pick up the courtesy car that was being provided by Thomas Bros. “She” provided the transport. The loan car was a hybrid MG that provided entertainment on the return trip to our camping site.
First timers arrived in the afternoon.
