Courtesy of a scam text on the phone, we were up at 6:15am. It is disappointing when scammers do not realise that you are sleeping.
Looking out of the door of the caravan, we were presented with a sunny day with clear skies. Cloud was expected later in the day.
Immediately following breakfast, “He” headed to the coolest of the thermal pools where an hour was spent enjoying the water and talking with friends. “She” joined the party a little later and stayed for a long time after “He” returned to the caravan.
With one of our friends, we shopped for the next couple of days at Coles and before returning to the caravan park, we took advantage of an NRMA discount and refuelled the Navara.
Later in the afternoon we played several games of disc bowls before enjoying Happy hour until just after 5:00pm. “He” left happy hour early stating that he was nor feeling well. We assumed that the time in the thermal pool without a hat or sunglasses had taken its toll.
We went to bed early and had a good sleep.
