Other than some mud in one section of the site, there was very little evidence of yesterday’s rain. Locals would have been delighted as the rain was of a soaking nature.
“He” called the motor dealer able the “loan car” and after a discussion about what was being displayed on the dash, the dealer suggested that the accelerator be pressed. Doing this caused the ELECTRIC car to move. There was no issue with the vehicle on the previous day as it was running in electric mode.
We completed our talk on “Switzerland by Rail” which went over very well. Positive comments were received later in the day. We did not follow the script and were able to adlib through the 11.5-hour presentation.
We were told about a United Petrol Station selling diesel fuel about 20cpl cheaper than others. “He” was able to fill the car. Next fuel stop is likely to be at Glenrowan in Victoria.
The evening entertainment was Jacques Renay doing Tom Jones.
