Our alarm did ring at 6:30am when “She” got up for a shower and a hair wash taking full advantage of the ensuite on our site. “He” enjoyed another 30 minutes before getting up for breakfast.
We departed the caravan park at 9:30am and in light traffic, left Melbourne via the Hume Freeway. We stopped for lunch at Heathcote at a very large and busy bakery (the pie and pastie were very nice), before driving through to Echuca where we arrived at 1:40pm.
Our site number was changed, and we were told we had been given a better site. Whilst we
Had some synthetic grass, we had problems getting the caravan level due to the cross slope on the site. The toilets were dirty rand reflective of the fact that the park was busy with parents and children.
Later in the day we shopped and purchased a chicken for tea.
We received a text from friends who attended Stone the Crows informing us that Cathy is COVID positive. Heino is still negative.
Just before heading to bed, we heard noises outside and realised that our neighbour had a tent on the site adjacent to our bed and someone was snoring loudly. We fixed this by using a noise generator and we went to sleep with the sound of running water in our ears.
