30 April 2022 – Bridgewater VIC

As was the case yesterday, we didn’t set the alarm and awoke at 7:15am.

A tagalong around the area was planned for today and we intended to attend.  The planned departure time was 10:00am.

After finishing breakfast, “She” decided to sweep the floor and that was when we noticed water.  The water was traced to the bathroom and the flow stopped when we turned off the water supply.  This appears to be a repeat of a problem from the past that was fixed.  We spent a long-time removing item from under the bed and a seat and fortunately, apart from bags that items we stored in, everything is dry.

We left at 11:30am and drove to Maldon where we had lunch in a café.  Then to Bendigo and Bunnings where we purchased some drop mats that will be used, and the bed and we finally returned to the camp site where we had a discussion with friends before attending another happy hour.  We did purchase pies from the bakery for our evening meal which were enjoyed with potato and gravy.

We watched television until around 11:00pm when we headed to bed expecting a very cold night.  The caravan is well insulated, and the internal temperature did not drop below 16c.
