We had a comfortable sleep to the point where we remained in bed until 8:00am after our alarm sounded at 7:00am. Unfortunately, “She” had he get up at 4:00am for a comfort stop and “He” had cramps in both thigh muscles at the same time. Fortunately, the cramps went quickly.
Today started warm and we started the air conditioning just after we got up.
Our group attended a formal morning tea at 10:00am.
Happy hour started at 4:00pm and was followed by the group sharing a cooked BBQ meal comprising a sausage, a piece of steak, a kebab, and a variety of salads. The meal was great and enjoyed by everyone.
We returned to our caravan after sunset and took out time having on-board showers (we had some issues with a blocked drain) and were in bed just before 11:00pm. Again, as there was the smell of smoke in the air, we left the air conditioning running for the entire night in fan mode. This proved to be a good move as we both slept well. Hopefully we will get the option to open windows and vents without the smell of smoke. It is difficult to understand why people must light a campfire in the middle of summer. We just do not understand.
