The doona has now been placed at the base of the bed and we are still warm under our single blanket.
Today we were collected by one of our friends and we went drove to the home of Gary’s parents where we renewed our relationship. Gary’s parents, George and Judy, were on the tour we did of Switzerland in 2019, and we have kept in touch since then.
Today we all went to a town in Gippsland called Yarragon which has been the location for day trips for Gary and his parents. We stopped at the Yarragon Country Style Bakery where we enjoyed lunch and then a quick look around the shops.
We returned to our campsite around 3:00pm where we relaxed until having sandwiches for our evening meal.
At 6:45pm, Gary and Cathy collected both of us and we headed to the Montmorency Eltham RSL Club where we joined other members of the Diamond Valley Railway for trivia. Our table won the night but our contribution to the win was only trivial.
We returned to our caravan at 10:00pm and watched a television show that we had recorded. We were in bed at 11:00pm for another hot night. No doona and the blanket only pulled up in the early hours of the morning.
