Once again, it rained overnight but not with the intensity of previous nights. It was quite dry when we headed to the amenities block just after 7:30am. The caravan park is quiet now with many empty sites resultant of the weekend campers departing.
Today our group was booked on a cruise around Lake Wallace, a stretch of water three times larger than Sydney Harbour in size. The lunch cruise was with FreeSpirit Cruises.
We departed the jetty at Forster at 11:30am and returned after 2:00pm. We experience rain in the first hour with the rain replaced by overcast and finally some sun.
The meal served on the boat was excellent and comprised a bread roll, salad and two cuts of meat. That was followed by apple pie and cream and tea and coffee were also available. The boat had a bar and the prices were reasonable.
Returning to the caravan park at around 2:30pm, we copied our pictures onto our computers and were happy with what we had taken.
We had happy hour at 4:00pm where we played ladder golf. The caravan park put on a sausage sizzle at 5:00pm and they were happy for a couple of our group to collect the sausage sandwiches and bring them back to where we were playing ladder golf.
Prior to having our evening meal, “He” repacked the rear of the Navara assuming that we will be packing a wet annexe when we depart on Friday. If the annexe is wet, it can be placed into the back of the Navara last.
We consumed our microwave meals for tea and then watch television until just before 11:00pm
