We heard it rain several times during the night just the ground was dry when we emerged in the morning. Once again, we left the air conditioning running in night mode when we turned the caravan lights off but as was the case during the previous night, at some time during the night, “He” turned the air conditioning off.
We had a quick breakfast before getting ready to go to the Tuncurry “Sporties” club where we planned to play bowls. The weather was overcast but it was dry, so bowls were on.
Before leaving we had to close the window closest to our kitchen. Disaster, after raising the window to the point where it should close, the window was jammed open. “He” searched for and eventually found a can of silicon which was used to lubricate the window slides. Fortunately, the window closed, and we were able to leave to go to “Sporties”.
Neither of us played bowls but we watched to a couple of hours before finding a reserved table and eating lunch from the bistro. The meals were generous, and the quality was good.
We returned to our caravan just after 1:00pm and “He” decided that as it was dry, it might be appropriate to pack our annexe way and avoid doing the job during the forecast rain in coming days. The annexe was not totally dry, but it was packed into the rear of the Navara and will be totally dried when we return home.
Once “He” cooled down, we drove to Woolworths at Tuncurry and purchased a few groceries. After returning to the caravan park, we joined other branch members for our happy hour. Four past members of our branch who now live in the area joined us for happy hour.
Happy hour finished just after 6:00pm and we returned for our evening meal from items purchased from Woolworths.
It rained several times during the evening, and we took advantage of our on-board shower to save the walk to the amenities block.
We watched television until we both decided that an early night in bed would do us well.
